Deep River Union
Welcome to the Deep River Baptist Union, a vital auxiliary serving the Deep River Missionary Baptist Association with a focus on fostering cooperation, fellowship, and spiritual growth among member churches. Our union, composed of ministers, deacons, laymen, laywomen, delegates, and members of Deep River churches, convenes quarterly on fifth weekends and as agreed upon by the body.

At the core of our union are dedicated officers who oversee our activities and uphold our mission. From the President to the Chaplain, each officer plays a crucial role in guiding our union towards its objectives. We are committed to ensuring accountability and effective leadership, with officers elected every four years.

Our standing committees, including Program, Finance/Budget, and Hospitality, work diligently to plan sessions, manage finances, and express gratitude to host churches. Through these committees, we aim to create a welcoming and organized environment for our members to gather, share, and grow.

Central to our union's purpose is the promotion of greater cooperation, understanding, and fellowship among member churches. We strive to hear and consider reports from member churches and duly elected committees, promoting dialogue and collaboration. Additionally, we are dedicated to advancing the spread of the kingdom of God, as outlined in the Constitution of the Association.

All participants in our union, including officers, ministers, deacons, delegates, and voting members, are required to be members in good standing of the Missionary Baptist Church. The Executive Board of the Deep River Association oversees representation fees and serves as the governing body of our union.
Join us as we work together to strengthen our association, deepen our commitment to the kingdom of God, and foster a community of faith, service, and fellowship.
